Astro-animation '22 – From Punching an Asteroid to Supermassive Black Holes and More!

NASA Goddard’s Office of Communications is proud to present this collaboration with the Maryland Institute College of Art and Goddard scientists.

Visit an animated universe with this presentation – “Astro-Animation: From Punching an Asteroid to Supermassive Black Holes and More!”

Students debut their animations with you, discuss their process for creating these masterpieces and talk about how to become an animator! Topics include the DART spacecraft, satellite constellations, “house hunting” on Europa, BurstCube rock/neutron stars, a birthday celebration for the NuSTAR X-ray telescope and exciting new results from supermassive black holes.

Hosted by Claire Andreoli & produced by Travis Wohlrab, NASA/GSFC. Streamed live on April 28, 2022 from 1pm – 2pm ET.
